How to easily access NEJM articles from home?

Here are the ways to easily access NEJM from home. (Of course you can always go to OHSU library first, but if you want to save some clicks [important for developing a habit], then please see below.)

You can use the direct links that takes you through OHSU Library proxy. (Go through the blue button OHSU Login.) I saved the following direct links:

NEJM monthly clinical problem solving cases (CPS): https://login.liboff.ohsu.edu/login?qurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.nejm.org%2Fmedical-articles%2Fclinical-problem-solving

NEJM weekly clinical pathologic cases (CPC): https://login.liboff.ohsu.edu/login?qurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.nejm.org%2Fmedical-articles%2Fcase-records-of-the-massachusetts-general-hospital

NEJM weekly reviews articles: https://login.liboff.ohsu.edu/login?qurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.nejm.org%2Fmedical-articles%2Freview-article

I also recommend installing Zotero, especially if you want to jump start your scholarship. In my experience Zotero has replaced EndNote as the most popular/modern app for citation/literature management (eg, when you insert references while writing an article). Then also install the its extension called Zotero connector for your Internet explorer (eg, Chrome or Microsoft Edge). Once you log in to NEJM through OHSU proxy, it will prompt you to remember this option so in the future even if you access NEJM through a regular link, the Zotero extension will help you go to the proxy site so you can access the article.

Lastly, reminder to check out our internal website: https://hillsboroimres.squarespace.com/research-scholarship for examples of prior scholarly activities. Under Scholarly Activity Resources, there is also a guide for writing Clinical Vignettes.
